Hacking Scotland Yard Board Games
This is the map for the board game Scotland Yard:
This is an updated version of the map, from the 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition:
This is another version of the game called N.Y. Chase (also marketed as Interpol):
As far as I can tell, there are 200 numbered locations on each map. Some are connected by subway lines (the dotted red lines), and almost all are connected by roadways (yellow and blue -- considered bus routes and taxi routes in the games).
You can find these board games fairly cheap at thrift stores and resale shops (I found mine for about $3 at a Savers).
Any of these maps would be awesome for urban point-crawl adventures. Combine this with the 650 Fantasy City Encounter Hooks book from Roleplaying Tips and you have everything you need to devise a months-long urban campaign.
