2C. Anders’ Bedroom
This room contains an unmade bed and a small trunk. Under the hay-stuffed mattress is a bloddy hand scythe and the clothes that the midwife was wearing the day Slack came to retrieve her.
The trunk is locked and the lock is trapped with a poison needle. PCs who trigger the needle must Save vs. Poison or lose 1 HP per day until dead or cured; they cannot recover HP by resting while poisoned.
The trunk contains 25cp, 15sp, a leather-bound journal, and a vial of powdered poison antidote. The journal, written in Anders’ own hand, is a daily log of farm activites, including details about Anders’ efforts over the past three season to cross-breed the local cabbages with strange specimens he found on the abandoned Lantham farmstead.
