02. A troop of d66 undead foxes feed on four three-toed Voormis; one Voormi is still half-alive and trying to crawl away. One of the dead Voormis has a burlap sack containing 42gp and a small ebony statue of an amphibious petty god; the statue radiates a bleak magical aura. Anyone possessing the statue for more than 1d4 days will break out in warts that will evenutally sprout umber-hued fur. This change is permanent. The statue is worth 750gp to furry occult collectors.

Y. After the PCs have dealt with the main encounter, an albino lizardman stumbles into the area, his back riddled with arrows. Before he collapses and dies, he presses a ring of reddish-gold metal set with a purple gem into the hands of one of the PCs. A close examination of the ring by a knowledgeable arcanist reveals its outer edge is etched with worn runes and a small demon is trapped inside the gem; thrusting the ring into an open flame while it is worn on the hand compels the demon to answer any question the wearer requests (fire damage results to the ring's bearer, of course).
