(I've updated the file to correct a few formatting errors and one egregious typo.)
Hidden at the back of a goblin lair is a two-way inter-dimensional space/time portal to a used car lot in Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1976; the goblins do maintenance on AMC Gremlins for cases of Pabst Blue Ribbon and cartons of Belair menthol cigarettes. What your PCs do there is up to you.
Chock-full of corny references to the 1970s and full of gonzo surprises, spring this on your players to liven up your campaign. It primarily uses the Sword & Wizardry WhiteBox rules. You'll need the Labyrinth Lord Advanced Edition Companion to run at least one of the encounters, mainly because I didn't want to include the full LL write-up for one of the monsters.
You'll also need the vehicle combat system described in the free Mutants on Wheels supplement for Mutant Future by John Wilson/Wilsonclan Games. The DM may wish to use an alternate jousting system, such as Paul Gorman’s house rules for jousting or the Flailsnails Jousting Tourney Rules.
The DM will also need to be familiar with Reverend Dak’s Firearm Rules for Swords & Wizardry to successfully utilize this thing.
Enjoy, and let me know what you think.
And yes, I am finally working on formatting the troglodyte community projects as PDFs, too.
